So... What’s this all about?
We all know that mental illness is a growing issue in the world, and none of us are immune to the struggle. But what do we do when we feel our mental health challenges are at odds with our faith?
That's why the Anxious Faith community exists; this is a place to ask the difficult questions, find resources to help you in your journey, and be encouraged by the stories of people who are seeking and wrestling with God through their mental health struggles.
Our ministry is twofold; we want to share the real, raw, lived experiences of Christians who face all kinds of mental health struggles, so that you know you’re not alone and it’s okay to struggle. No topic is off the table, and through our podcast and blog, we get into the nitty-gritty questions about what it’s like to come to God in the middle of the mess.
We’re also here to learn from the “experts” – doctors, psychologists, counsellors, pastors, youth workers, carers, and more – to continue learning about how our faith and mental health interact, and so that we can all be better equipped to love, understand, and support one another.
We’re a nonprofit ministry, so everything we do is possible because of the support of people like you. We’d be grateful if you would consider partnering with us so we can continue this work, whether that’s through prayer, sharing our resources in your circles, or contributing towards our ministry costs.
If you have questions or feedback for us, please get in touch! We'd love to connect with you on our social platforms, too, where you can join the community, check out our other resources, and see behind-the-scenes content from our team.
And, in the meantime, we hope you'll stay a while and help us continue the conversation. Thank you for being here.
